Memebox: Superbox #63 Blackheads No More
Purchase Price: $45.99
Estimated Value: $171

Blackheads. Just the word itself gets people riled up! If you’re one of the many people that suffer from blackheads, it’s likely that you’ve been fighting a losing battle. There’s a hoard of products out there that claim to clear blackheads, but are they really effective? Right now, you may think that the best way to remove blackheads is to squeeze them with your fingers, but that’s really not a great idea. With the help of this Blackheads No More Box, a mix of blackhead clearing, blackhead preventing, and pore minimizing essentials, you’ll pull out all pore-cloggers straight and clean and shrink oversized pores for the best skin you’ve ever had!

1. Migabee Hot & Cool Pore Care Set; 30ml/30ml/70ml
Full size product is 30ml/30ml/70ml; $43
This 3-step system is like a blackheads worst nightmare. The scrub heats up and opens your pores, the cleanser removed impurities and tightens pores, and the mist soothes your face and refines your pores. This trio is perfect for a spa night. I love the way it works, and find it to be effective but not overly harsh on my sensitive skin either.

2. Nella Fantasia Pore Control Astringent Gel; 180ml
Full size product is 180ml; $34
pH: 6
When this box arrived my son started sniffing it. I thought he was nuts (don't tell the poor kid I said that...) until I smelled it too. This sweet sugary aroma that made me want to lick the box. You know, like Willy Wonka's wallpaper? Sure. My kid's nuts because his mom is nuts. Lets move along....
This astringent is a nice thin gel that I find easy to work with. It smells delicious, while cooling and contracting my pores. I love it!

3. ProYou Pore Control Foam Deep Cleanser; 100ml
Full size product is 100ml; $34
pH: 7
The pH of this cleanser is a little high for my skin, but not as high as others I've tried so I'll use it now and again. This cleanser bubbles and foams up on your skin to deep clean. It feels so nice on the skin.

4. Dermahouse Deep Cleansing Cream; 150ml
Full size product is 150ml; $18
pH: 7
I was surprised to see two cleansers in this box, aside from the third that is part of the pore set featured first in this post. This is an all-skin-type hydrating cream cleanser with a bit of a high pH. This removes makeup very well and leaves my skin feeling moist while removing excess oil.

5. Cheek Room Pore Brush
Full size is $36
I'm not gonna lie. I laughed a little when I saw that this brush was so expensive. I recently purchased a similar brush off eBay for $3 and think it's ok, but not spectacular. I received this one and it's completely different. The bristles are made of a silkier material (the $3 brush has wool bristles and absorb water and feel grabby on my skin), and the brush itself is much more plush and pliable. I love it!

6. PureDerm Nose Pore Strips in Charcoal; 6 strips
Full size product is 6 strips; $6
If you've read previous reviews of mine, you already know Purederm nose pore strips are my favorite, and these are no exception. They work so much better than strips I've found here in the states, and I'll hoard them like the crazy Korean beauty lover that I am.

This box held an amazing value. I'll use every product in the box, which gives me $125 worth of product OVER what I paid. An amazing value that I would never find anywhere other than from Memebox.

Luckybox 10 #Memebox #Unboxing & #Review

*This post contains affiliate links and I will receive a small commission if you make a purchase after clicking my link.*

Memebox: Luckybox #10
Purchase Price: $23 + $6.99 shipping
Estimated Value: $140

Luckybox #10 is finally here! In this Luckybox #10, you'll find all your favorite beauty goodies featured in previous Memeboxes! You'll find everything you need to keep on with your Memeboxing!

1. Dr.MJ Bee Tox Control Cream; 55ml
Full size product is 55ml; $50
I have had sensitivity to bee venom products in the past, but I really want to try out this cream, so I decided that - in moderation - I will use this cream at night. It has a minty/menthol scent to it, which immediately makes me think that it's going to be refreshing. The cream is a thick, opaque white, that it creamy to work with. When spreading it on my face, it reminded me of a creamier Noxzema - the smell is almost exact. It's very cooling and tingly on the skin, and does feel a bit greasy, but will work fine at night. It takes a bit to absorb, but when it does, you can really feel it working to repair your skin.

2. Mstar Malus Intensive Hair Treatment; 30g
Full size product is 30g; $14
I'll be honest, with my DIY pixi cut I really didn't plan on using this treatment. Then I started researching it a bit and saw how nutritious it was for the hair! With as much as I dye my hair, at the very least I could use this as an after color conditioner when I use henna. It's made with 70% apple juice instead of water. I'm both intrigued and excited about this product.

3. The Skin House Aloe Water Mist; 80ml
Full size product is 80ml; $11
I've tried to get into spray mists in the past but my skin never felt dehydrated or "tired" so I never used them. This one says it can double as a toner though, so I'll probably keep it around. It has a pH of 5, which is pretty acceptable. The only downer about this product is that it has a strong perfume smell that may end-up being a headache trigger for me in the future.

4. Benton Snail Bee High Content Essence; 60ml
Full size product is 60ml; $22
I've used this essence in the past and at first it really cleared up my face. Then I began to develop irritation due to overuse of a product that I'm allergic to. Not the essence itself, but I am very sensitive to bee venom. I enjoy it's effects every now and again, but with extensive use I develop boils and hives. I will either pass this product along, or save it to use on dry sheet mask discs for a once-and-a-while treatment.

5. E choice  Snow Brightening Body Cream; 100g
Full size product is 100g; $4
Just when I convinced myself that I wouldn't need a product like this, I start to notice all the scars and dark large freckles on my arms and shoulders. This cream instantly brightens up your skin, but I'm not sure yet on any lasting effects. It's also moisturizing, which is a nice plus considering the dry cold time of year we're in.

6. Beauty People Miss 100 Auto Gel Pencil Liner; 0.5g
Full size product is 0.5g; $38
I received the color Glimmer Bronze out of the three colors random selected for each box. These liners are creamy and pretty much perfect, but I am overloaded with liners already in every color imaginable, so this will be going up for swap.

7. Blithe Patting Water Pouch; 6 foil samples
Full size product is 200ml; $46
There are three types of water available in these Patting Water Pack's, and I received 2 foil packets of each type in this box; Energy Yellow Citrus & Honey, Soothing & Healing Green Tea, and Rejuvenating Purple Berry. You mix one capful of the full size (or one sample pouch from this box) in a basin 1/4 full of water, mix it together, then repeatedly pat the water into your face. Yellow brightens, Green controls oil, and Purple firms. These water treatments are certainly refreshing, and I feel like they do a slight deal to actually help my skin. I won't spend $46 on a full size, but I'll look out of more foil samples!

~

This is an incredible box filled with new products that I'll use. The value of items I'll keep exceeds the cost of the box by $72! If I do decide to pass along the Benton Bee Essence, I still gain $50 worth of products from what I actually paid for the box. What a value!

Red Ginseng Sheet Mask from Beauty Friends #Review

This sheet mask I received from eBay in a lot of $30 masks for $25. It is made by "Beauty Friends" and is a cotton mask with 23g of essence in the mask. According to the listing Red Ginseng is mild, firming, and refreshing - it's supposed to tighten pores while it cleans and moisturizes.

The smell when I opened the package is unlike anything I've ever smelled before. It smelled like fermented chili peppers. Just odd, a little spicy, and maybe a little rotted.

The cotton sheet was must better than I expected for the price of the mask individually. It was the perfect thickness. Not too thick, but not thin enough to rip apart. It was big - it fit my face well with room to spare, but was easy to fold over at the top. It spread out on my face evenly, and was comfortable to wear for 30 minutes until I removed it.

Upon removal, I noticed my face was a little red. It felt moist, smelled of the mask, and was a little tingly. As the redness subsided I noticed my face felt a little tighter and firmer. I like how smooth and firm my face looks for now, but if I find a similar mask I'll replace this one just because of the smell lol.

Tattoo brow liner after makeup removal.

1. Secret Kiss: Face Fit Strobe Cream; 30ml
Full size product is 30ml; $11

With Flash
Without Flash
This cream is supposed to brighten and hydrate your face while camouflaging redness. You can use it under your makeup or as a highlighter. I used it under my bb cream, the above pictures are of my skin with only the strobe cream on.

2. Vella: Flower Flower BB; 15ml
Full size product is 15ml; $26

With Flash
Without Flash
First off, I can't get over how expensive this tube of bb cream is... 15ml is 1/3 of the size of a "regular" tube of bb cream, yet this is even more expensive than many brands of bb cream I own. This is a hydrating formula that is supposed to control oil and minimize the appearance of pores. I found it to be a bit greasy for my skin, and filled in my pores making my face look a bit funny. It does contain SPF 30, which probably explains the ghostly whiteness in the "flash" photo.

3. TonyMoly: 7 Days Tattoo Eyebrow; 0.8ml
Full size product is 0.8ml;$8

I never know how I should feel about eyebrow products. I have dark, bushy brows naturally, so adding in more product just makes me feel like an ogre. This product comes in the same shade in each Memebox, which is Dark Brown, and it luckily matches my brows perfectly. You're supposed to be able to apply this to your brows before bed and have it last for 7 days before you need to fill in your brows again. For the sake of reviewing and creating a "look" with my box, I applied it when I did my makeup lol. I felt like the tip was very easy to work with, and I liked how the formula applied, but it did seem to dry up a couple times during application, so I took a while to get it going enough to get my full brows done. I don't know how long this pen will last.

4. Style Y: Soft Fit Mix & Match Pencil and Powder Shadow; 0.5g
Full size product is 0.5g; $9

Of the two possible shades this stick comes in, I received Deep Choco Liner & Gold Tip. I like the light shimmer of the shadow, and I like how smoothly the liner applies - but I don't like how much the powder shadow creases =(

5. Style Y: Color Fit Creamy Lip & Cheek; 5ml
Full size product is 5ml; $13

This looks super bright right out of the tube, but is actually pretty wearable once it dries and sets. I used it on my lips only, and I like the formula for the most part. I think it feels a bit grainy while it dries. Not chunky, just like a silty dry oil feeling.

6. Color World: Jewelish Stick Shadow; 10g
Full size product is 10g; $13
I swatched this shadow above, but the chunky glitter was a huge turn-off for me. My eyes are too sensitive for chunky glitter, and I honestly didn't know what to do with two shadows in such opposite ranges of color. This will be sanitized and swapped.

So there have it! This was a nice fun box. Here's the look I was able to create using only products from this box, minus the purple stick shadow:

The Face Shop #Memebox #Unboxing & #Review

*This post contains affiliate links and I will receive a small commission if you make a purchase after clicking my link.*

Memebox: Superbox $82 The Face Shop
Purchase Price: $29 + $6.99 shipping
Estimated Value: $43

Always on top of their A-game, The Face Shop is Korea’s premier cosmetics brand known to pursue excellent quality, style, and innovation. This box brims with skin, body and makeup goodies that have won countless beauty rewards - all made with gentle natural ingredients. Globally recognized and globally famed, The Face Shop is loved by all ages and all skin types. Endorsed by Korea’s top girl group Miss A’s Suzy, The Face Shop is recognized globally as a novelty brand that leads the beauty industry with superior ingredients, rst-class stylishness, and original design. Up your look with The Face Shop’s natural recipe for impeccable beauty!

1. The Face Shop: Calendula Eden Esssential Moisture Cream; 50ml
Full size product is 50ml; $9
Calendula is great for calming the skin. It's an anti-inflammatory and heals the skin. This cream claims to be "intensely hydrating" and also contains hyaluronic acid to seal in moisture and firm the skin. I haven't decided yet if I will try to use this cream at night or if it'll end up in a sale box.

2. The Face Shop: Lovely Me:ex Pastel Cushion Blusher; 5g
Full size product is 5g; $7
There were five different blush shades you could receive in this box, and I received Pink. I have milk redness already, so I tend to steer away from pink blushes and lean more towards peach or plum. I may swap this one out, or add it to a sale box.

3. The Face Shop: Lovely Me:ex Mini Pet Hand Cream; 30ml
Full size product is 30ml; $6
Isn't this the cutest little tub of hand cream you've ever seen?!? Each box contained one of four randomly selected cream scents, and I received Baby Powder. I would have rather received Sweet Fruits, but this will do. Maybe I can reminisce about when my growing little man used to fit in one arm and sleep all day.

4. The Face Shop: Lovely Me:ex Dessert Lip Balm; 6g
Full size product is 6g; $8
I am loving all the cute packaging in this box! This looks like a tiny little jam pot, with a honey stick in the lid to scoop out a bit at a time without sticking your finger inside. Out of the three flavors possible to receive, I received Strawberry, and I've found my new favorite lip balm. This formula is thick like jam, but spreads smooth and leaves your lips feeling soft and moisturized. I'll be looking for back-ups of these little pots!

5. The Face Shop: Lovely Me:ex You&Eyes; 1.6g
Full size product is 1.6g; $5
Everyone received the same shade of eyeshadow in this box, Sand Brown. It's a nice shimmery shade that I think would look well on anyone. I'm torn between trying this shadow out or sticking with the umpteen palettes I have filled with shadows already.

6. The Face Shop: Milk Plus Calming Moisture Body Lotion; 300ml
Full size product is 300ml; $8
There was a shortage of the lotions at Memebox, so some people received a shower soap instead. That's what I got. I'll be honest, I'm kinda glad I got soap instead of lotion, but I don't have much info about it. It enriched with milk though, so I'm sure it's great for the skin, and it feels amazing. It's not drying at all and I enjoy it so far.

I think this is the lowest valued Memebox I've ever received. I'm glad I found several products that I like and that I was able to purchase this in a value set with the Skinfood box to save a little money, so this purchase was totally worth it to me. Another great box =)
