#Elizavecca CF‑Nest 97% B‑jo Serum #Review
Swiftlet's nest extract is an ingredient that really interests me. The extract is actually swiftlet saliva used to build nests, which are in a jelly-like form. I know the collection of this extract can be controversial, but it's my understanding that it's generally farmed from abandoned nests or outside of breeding season without destroying the nest. For me, I feel comfortable using it in products from well-known brands like Elizavecca. So I was ecstatic to try their CF‑Nest 97% B‑jo Serum.

As a gal with clogged pores (and plenty of them) I was excited to give this mask a try. It's a three step mask (as the title implies) and since it has "pore" in the name, and a hilarious illustration of blackheads and sebum being pulled from the skin, I thought the chances were pretty good that this mask would be pretty useful to me.

Elizavecca Gold CF-Nest White Bomb Eye Cream Review #bbcosmetic
I'm going to admit right now that I've never kept up on using an eye cream before in my life. I get one, and use it a few times before deciding that my regular skincare is just as well going up under my eyes as it is on the rest of my face. And that is that.
I'm a big fan of Elizavecca products, and not just because of that adorable little piggy, but because their products generally work well with my skin.
The Elizavecca Gold CF-Nest White Bomb Eye Cream is the second part of a package I received from BB Cosmetic - the first being the Choonee Rejuvenating Horse Fat Masks I reviewed last week.
Before we get started, I want to note that this product was received as a press sample, and the bottom of the post does contain affiliate links. Have you even woken up one morning and swear you look drastically older than you did the night before? That happened to me when I turned 30 a couple months ago. It's like a switch flipped and my body thought I had a lot of aging to catch up on. I noticed fine lines and my first grey hairs, and of course some new pains that I think I'm too young to be complaining about yet... But regardless I was determined to get my semi-youthful face back, and part of that quest was finally settling down with an eye cream and getting serious - about regular application that is.
This eye cream contains Swiftlet Nest Extract to help stimulate collagen production, niacinamde to brighten, and a mixture of other moisturizing oils and extracts to hydrate and protect the delicate eye area.
Swiftlet nest extract is harvested carefully as not to disturb the nesting habits of the birds (even from abandoned nests). It is actually the saliva of swiftlets used to "cement" their nests together. Swiftlet nest extract has been harvested for hundreds of years to be used in birds nest soup and other dishes, thought to be nutrient-rich and offering several health benefits including digestive aide and immune system support.
The tube packaging looks beautiful for this product, so elegant with the touches of gold. And of course it wouldn't be Elizavecca without the "milky piggy" adorning the tube. I'm very appreciative of the small opening on this easy-to-squeeze tube, it's much more simple to dispense than scooping out of a jar.
The eye cream is white in color with specks of gold throughout. It has a light fresh lotion scent that doesn't linger.
It spreads thinly across my skin, and have a thick lotion feel, but isn't too heavy for my oily skin.
With a bit of patting with my ring finger, the cream absorbs within seconds into my skin.
I used this eye cream for 3 weeks (daily) and feel like my eye area looks more "awake" during the day than it used to. Forgive the change in lighting below, but the area looks a bit less creased (but it wasn't too bad beforehand) and the darkness is less severe.

You all know about my love affair with Elizavecca by now, and more than likely about my adoration for donkey milk in my skincare products - so when I found these donkey milk sheet masks on Jolse a few months ago I instantly had to order them. It was shortly before I started trentinoin in my Curology script - so I figured even my oily skin could use a deeply hydrating steam cream mask, right?

This is a heavy moisturizing mask pack containing donkey milk. This mask is supposed to deliver shine, moisture, smooth texture, elasticity, nutrition and flexibility to the skin.
Ingredients:
Purified Water, Glycerin, Butylene Glycol, Grape Seed Oil, Sodium Hyaluronate, Caprylic/Capric Triglyceride, Glyceryl Stearate, Polysorbate 60, Shea Butter, Cetearyl Alcohol, Cyclopentasiloxane, Dimethicone/Vinyl Dimethicone Crosspolymer, Dimethicone, Witch Hazel Extract, Cirtus Paradisi (Grapefruit) Fruit Extract, Centella Asiatica Extract, Hydrolyzed Collagen, Pomegranate Extract, Sea Grape Extract, Seaweed Extract, Hexapeptide-1, Chlorphenesin, Carbomer, Tocopheryl Acetate, Allantoin, Disodium EDTA, Arginine, Donkey Milk (100ppm), Perfume

Directions:
Squeeze the cream around inside the mask packet to evenly distribute it throughout the mask material. Cut away a corner of the packet and squeeze out the excess cream into a clean container. Open the packet and apply the mask - spread extra cream on the mask material if needed. Leave on face for 15-20 minutes then remove. Pat in remaining cream essence, and use the excess as needed as a facial or body moisturizer.
My skin is oily, dehydrated, acne-prone with hormonal cystic acne from PCOS and sensitive to alcohol, bee venom and propolis.
Performance:
This mask has a very light perfume scent to it. It does disappear shortly after you apply it, but when you first open the packet it can be slightly off-putting. I tried this mask several times to get the combo of sheet mask and cream just right and I have to say that for oily skin like mine, it's best to remove a majority of the cream from the packet then apply the mask. It will feel a little dry, but the cream is oily enough to help the mask adhere to your skin as long as you're not doing cartwheels in your living room. If you have a mask cover, that is going to help a lot with this mask.
You can apply more cream if the mask feels too dry, but the more cream you apply the thicker the "steaming" layer is on your skin, and if you have skin like mine you'll have more sweat on your face than moisturizing cream. This mask works well as a final step if you're skin isn't super dry - the cream soaks in while the mask is on and leaves a layer on your skin after removal. Even after patting in the remainder, you can still feel the protective hydrating film on your skin.
Verdict:
Though this may be a bit too heavy of a mask for oily skin like mine, I can really appreciate the hydrating and protective features of this mask - and how plump and bright my skin looks in the morning is completely worth it. The excess of cream essence is a bonus as well - I love using it as an emulsion on my face at night, and on my arms and hands when they are dry.

Dissolve your makeup and cleanse your face after a long day with donkey milk and camellia oil mild cleansing cream. Instead of the hassle of tiresome double cleansing, use both a cleansing oil and cleansing cream in one! Deep pore cleansing, makeup removal, clean rinsing, and no stickiness or residue.
Ingredients: [Cosdna analysis] Purified water, Mineral oil, PEG-7 Glyceryl Cocoate, soybean oil, Isononyl Isononanoate, jojoba seed oil, propolyene glycol, PEG-40 stearate, glycerin, glyceryl stearate, beeswax, Stearic Acid, Microcrystalline Wax, Sorbitan Oleate, Camellia Oil, Donkey Milk, PEG-100 Stearate, Lanolin, Dimethicone, Cetearyl alcohol, Benzyl glycol, Butoxydiglycol, Raspberry ketone, Triethanolamine, Tocopheryl Acetate, Xanthan Gum, Perfume, Disodium EDTA
Directions: Apply cleansing cream to skin, and massage into skin for 1-2 minutes. Remove by gently rinsing with water, or wiping away with tissue. Second cleansing is not required to clean up after the cleansing cream.
My skin is oily, dehydrated, acne-prone with hormonal cystic acne from PCOS and sensitive to alcohol, bee venom and propolis.
Performance: The Donkey Creamy Cleansing Melting Cream from Elizavecca comes in a heavy-duty glass jar with an aluminum screw-on lid. I have mixed feelings about this packaging - it's cute, sturdy, and works well; but because of the oily nature of this product it leaks easily while the jar is full. The jar had leaked a small amount during transit, but only some separated oil had escaped and it was easy to clean up - I'd recommend ordering during a cold time of year so it's more solid during shipping.
The texture is oily, creamy, and smooth. It spreads easily onto the skin, and melts away very quickly against the warmth of your skin. Because this cleanser is a mix between both a cream and an oil, it's an excellent makeup remover! By following the directions and massaging the cleanser onto my hand for two minutes, the melting cleanser removed all but a small amount of the blue eyeliner - and to be fair, the following morning those blue marks were still there, that eyeliner is crazy strong!
Verdict: This cleanser does a great job removing most makeup, and can be used as both a first step or only cleanser as it does rinse away very well. I prefer to use it as a first cleanser followed by a second cleanser. I love how soft it leaves my skin feeling, and how bright and clean it looks afterwards. It can be a bit greasy for the eyes, but if you keep them closed it works well there too! This is a cleanser I would repurchase.

Description: The combination of collagen and swiftlet nest extract works to lift, moisturize and plump the skin with a gentle peeling-effect mask.

Directions: Apply an even layer to clean skin. Allow to dry for ~30 minutes, until it's like an elastic film. Start to peel gently from one end, peel the edges toward the middle of your face - try to peel the mask off in one piece.
My Skin: oily, dehydrated, acne-prone, hormonal cystic acne, sensitive to alcohol, mild anti-aging concerns.
Performance: The CF-Nest Collagen Jella Mask Pack from Elizavecca comes packaged in a tube, and you squeeze out the product through the cap at the base. It has a very light mild scent that disappears not long after application. It's sticky in texture, and I find that this mask is easiest applied with a flat foundation brush to get even application. It feels nice when applied, and it doesn't tighten as it dries or cause any drying or discomfort. I find that it takes about 30 minutes for the mask to fully dry to be peeled off.
Verdict: When removed, this mask makes my skin look brighter and clearer, and feel softer and more hydrated. The peeling effect gently removes dead skin cells and gently exfoliates as well. This is a great mask for any skin type!

Directions: Scoop a proper amount of the Elizavecca Milky Piggy Carbonated Bubble Clay Mask and spread evenly on dry, uncleansed face. Wait for 5 minutes until bubbles start to appear then gently massage it all over the face to melt down dirt. Rinse off with lukewarm water.
My Skin: oily, dehydrated, acne-prone, hormonal cystic acne, sensitive to alcohol, mild anti-aging concerns.
Performance: The Elizavecca Carbonated Bubble Clay Mask is like a gelatinous clay mask, that bubbles up when it comes into contact with your skin. I find it easy to spread out with my fingers, after taking a scoop out of the tub with the included spatula. It immediately starts to bubble up and tickles the skin ~ careful not to get it too close to your nostrils, or it might make you sneeze! The directions say to wait five minutes, but I usually wait 10~15, until the bubbles start to pop, then I massage it away with warm water. When washing it away, you'll notice how soapy it is - this is a reminder to be careful how much you apply, because it will take a long time to wash all the thick suds away. This mask has a lower pH of about 6, which makes it nice for those interested in using lower pH products to maintain and protect their skins' natural moisture barrier.
Verdict: Overall, this is a really fun mask to use. I love how it bubbles up and I love how soft it makes my skin feel - it also doesn't make my pores appear to be much cleaner. However, I do find it drying - so this is a nice summer mask, for when my skin is very oily, but it's not so great in the winter when my skin is more on the dry side. I will continue to repurchase it for summer-time use though!

Purpose: [From Memebox] Say goodbye to dull and uneven skin tone! Elizavecca Kangsi Pack is a unique mask pack infused with 24K gold powder extract, berry extracts, green herb extracts and hydrolyzed collagen which promote smooth and radiant skin. It balances the skin’s natural hydration levels to keep the skin at its healthiest state. This pack leaves visible results right after one usage!
To Use: Squeeze out an appropriate amount of the mask pack enough to cover the entire face. Apply an even amount and let it dry for 15 to 20 minutes. Once the gold mask turns white, wash it off with lukewarm water.

Cosdna Analysis: The Cosdna Analysis for this product is very clean for a somwhat extensive ingredient list. There are no potential acne triggers flagged, but Carbomer is flagged with a 1/5 as a potential irritant for sensitive skin. I want to point out that, although not flagged, Alcohol can be irritating to the skin.
Performance: The mask comes out of the tube as a glistening gold color. It's really quite beautiful, and really is shimmery at first.

I allowed the mask to dry for 20 minutes, and at that time it wasn't fully dry but my face was beginning to feel tight and cold so I washed it off. It looked like hardened clay once dry, but felt softer to the touch, and when water was added it became jelly-like again like when applied. It washed off pretty easily, the edges took a bit of extra massaging to get off completely.
Once rinsed off my face felt smooth and plump - it seemed to do a nice job hydrating my skin. Comparing the before and after photos before, I see that this mask did brighten my face a little as well and took some redness out of my acne scarring.

#Elizavecca #MilkyPiggy Hell-Pore Clean Up Mask [Review]
Elizavecca is one of those brands that is always bringing the cute packaging - and it wasn't until they started sending me products to review that I realized how effective they were as well. When I saw Memebox added a couple new Elizavecca masks to their shop, I purchased them right away! There is a peel off mask and a wash off mask, and today I'm sharing my experience with the peel off mask.
Elizavecca: Milky Piggy Hell-Pore Clean Up Mask
100g; Made in Korea
Purpose: To remove skin impurities that are clogging the pores. This mask is supposed to remove blackheads, whiteheads, & dead skin cells from the skin. This mask contains charcoal extract to deep clean, and caragana sinica to help control excess sebum while leaving skin healthy and glowing.
To Use: Apply the mask to your face, and allow it to set (dry). Peel the mask away from your skin. You may check the dried/peeled mask for sebum and dead skin.

Notable Ingredients: This mask contains charcoal extract to deep clean and control excess sebum, and caragana sinica (and antioxidant) to leave skin healthy and glowing.
Performance: The product dispensed easily out of the tube. I applied it to the back of my hand, and brushed it onto my face with my other hand - this gave me an easy and even application. I applied a thicker layer, thinking this would make it easier to peel off later on. The smell of the mask was strong at first - like Vodka and clay - I almost couldn't handle it, but thankfully the smell started to disappear shortly after I applied it, and by the time the top of the mask started to set the smell was gone. The hardest part of this mask was waiting for it to fully set so it could be pulled off. After an hour I removed the mask, and it did come off completely in one piece with the exception of a few gummy pieces that still hadn't dried (one on each cheek & one on my chin).
After removal my face felt so smooth! It also looked much brighter and cleaner.
This mask was a big success for me! My skin is somewhat oily, but also dehydrated, and I get clogged pores easily. Despite being sensitive to alcohol, this mask did not irritate my skin. This is a great mask for cleaning up the pores and removing dead skin, as well as brightening the complexion.

#Elizavecca #MilkyPiggy Glutinous Mask Snail Cream [Review]
Snail is one of the ingredients that initially drew me into Asian beauty. I had taken a look at a lot of different products, and while people were getting squeemish over the thought of smearing snail slime on their faces, that was the thing that made me realize AB really was going to be a different experience than Western beauty could ever give me.
Elizavecca: Milky Piggy Glutinous Mask 80% Snail Cream
100g; Made in Korea
Purpose: The Elizavecca Milky Piggy Glutinous Mask 80% Snail Cream is a whitening and anti-wrinkle cream.
To Use: Can be used as the last step in your skincare routine in either the morning or evening.
Notable Ingredients: I was unable to find a full list of ingredients for this product, but the major players in this product (noted on the packaging) are niacinamide, adenosine, snail mucus. These three ingredients together work to lighten hyper-pigmentation and discoloration, firm the skin and plump fine lines and wrinkles, and prevent new signs of aging from forming.
Packaging: The cream comes inside a cute little box with the Elizavecca piggy riding a snail.
Performance: The snail cream is thick and stringy, is opaque white in color, and smells a bit floral. The cream leaves a bit of a film after being rubbed in (see bottom left photo below) but it does fully absorb into the skin after a minute (bottom right photo below). Once absorbed my skin feels soft and smooth, but also hydrated and semi-matte.

Sleeping packs are a bit of an elusive creature to me. I like the idea of them, but I have a hard time finding ones that fit my skin type and needs, without clogging my pores.
Elizavecca: Green Piggy Collagen Jella Pack
100g; Made in Korea
Purpose: The Green Piggy Collagen Jella Pack is supposed to absorb easily into the skin with the help of collagen peptides, which renew vitality within the skin. This pack is supposed to improve wrinkles and fine lines with the help of the ingredient adenosine.
To Use: This pack can be used in the evening as the last layer in your skincare routine, or as a wash-off pack after 10-20 minutes of a thick layer absorbing into your skin.
Ingredients: Hydrolyzed collagen, Water, Dipropylene glycol, PEG-240/HDI Copolymer Bis-Decyltetradeceth-20 Ether, Glycerin, Glyceryl Stearate & PEG-100 Stearate, Caprylic/Capric Triglyceride, Macadamia Ternifolia Seed Oil, Dimethicone, Caprylyl Glycol/glycerin/polyacrylic Acid Copolymer, Sodium Hyaluronate, Theobroma Cacao Extract, Tocopheryl Acetate, Polyglutamic Acid, Bacillus/ Soybean Ferment Extract, Adenosine, Disodium EDTA, Fragrance.
Cosdna & Notable Ingredients: The Cosdna analysis for this product is pretty good! There is one low potential acne trigger, Dimethecone (1/5), which is in the middle of the ingredients list. No potential sensitive skin irritants - but please remember that everyone reacts to ingredients differently.
Packaging: If you're familiar with other Elizavecca products, you'll recognize the tub this pack is in. The tub is insulated (there is an air layer between the outside layer of plastic and the packaging that's touching the product itself. This product also has a double lid, meaning there is an inner lid (which holds the included spatula) and an outer lid which closes the tub.
Performance: The thing that stands out most about this product - which is pointed out in the name - is the Jelly-like texture and consistency. The jelly will always be flat when you open the tub, because the high amount of pig collagen allows this product to always return to form (left of photo below). As you can see below, after you remove a scoop of product (top right) the product settles back smooth within a matter of seconds (bottom right).
This pack feels like a smooth non-sticky jelly, and melts into the skin easily and quickly. After it's absorbed it leaves the skin feeling smooth, soft, plump, and hydrated.
I would recommend this product for all skin types, but of course I recommend patch-testing first just in case.
