I can hardly believe 2017 has already passed us by. I also can't believe how much I let things slip through my fingers for a whole year - how much I pushed dreams aside and let my ambition pretty much wash away. We moved into my family's homestead from the 1800's right before Christmas of 2016, and I've spent a lot of my time focused on family and pets that I used to spend on blogging - but I want to mange my time better and be more present on my blog in 2018.

Win a Holy Snails Gift Card!
It's been a long while since I've last held a blog giveaway. I've been wanting to hold one for a while but quite honestly I run out of ideas of what to pick that people might enjoy. Chel of Holy Snails makes a few of my favorite skincare items and quite conveniently offers gift cards, so I figured what better way to offer a little something back to my readers, than letting them choose their own prize!

Birthday Celebration Giveaway!
I've been planning this giveaway for a while for several reasons; I recently passed 3,500 friends on Instragram, I've been blogging for seven years, and my fabulous Facebook group of lovely friends who are as addicted to k-beauty as I am recently passed 6,000 members (soon to surpass 7,000). I am so overjoyed by all the support, love, and kindness everyone has shown me over the years, so I wanted to do something really special to thank you all for sticking with me.
My birthday is coming up on April 13th - and I will, begrudgingly, be turning 31 this year. Teenage me didn't think this day would come. Depression is an evil mistress, and one that I still struggle with. This year I want to celebrate hope, friendship, and self-care. Here on my blog I am giving away some of my favorite products right now - enough to put together a full routine. Doing my skincare routine each night gives me a time to calm my nerves, to forget about the day, and to love my skin. I want to give someone else this gift.

An Acne Fighting Giveaway!
I've been so blessed the past few months to have friends help me in so many ways, and I want to do something in return. I appreciate more than words can express when anyone uses one of my affiliate or referral links - not just because it helps fund my blog and products to review, but because I can use some to also give back to those who are supporting this blog. I'm currently wrapping up an Instagram giveaway put together with some masks from my stash, as well as some items I got in some blog boxes that I'll never (unfortunately) use, and this month I'm giving away some more masks plus some items picked up with my Amazon affiliate gift card. The theme for this giveaway (if you hadn't guessed by the title of this post) is products that have a good-running track record for fighting acne.

#Purex Plus Clorox2 Laundry Detergent Review & Giveaway
Summer is coming right around the corner, and with kids out of school leaves more time for them to get dirty while having fun. I've been trying out the new Purex Plus Clorox2 with Stain Fighting Enzymes to see how they hold up against anything my 5 year old can (literally) throw at his clothes.
Purex plus Clorox 2 laundry detergent is specially formulated to be safe for colors (100% bleach free) and to work on 100 stains! Remove starchy stains like chocolate and tomato sauce, protein stains like grass and blood, and sticky stains like ice cream and bbq sauce without the need for pretreating or soaking.
Summer is a time for barbeque, sunshine, and play - and now Purex is bringing a smart value to the game by making clean-up even easier. Grass stains on pants and ketchup or bbq sauce on shirts are not uncommon on my sons' clothing, and it's great knowing that they'll come out clean in the next wash with the incredible stain fighting power of Purex.
Enter to win a coupon for your very own Purex plus Clorox 2 laundry detergent (up to a $7 value).

March Sheet Mask #Giveaway!
Anyone following me for a while knows how much bad luck our family has had. It's been bad for years but this past year has been completely awful, and as soon as something starts to look up we're set 10 steps backwards again. Last year my husband was in an accident and missed months of work, then missed more work throughout the year while the semi went into the shop for more repairs extending from the accident. This Sunday, his truck started on fire and now it's gone. His job is gone, and while he's looking for a new one, I just really need a pick-me-up. I can't believe the terrible luck we've had - between work, health, and just life in general, I think a giveaway would make everyone feel better.
I'm hoping with my affiliate commission, which is earned through the links you all click and purchase from on my blog, I can not only help pay bills but also start offering a monthly giveaway. So to start us off, I'm offering a giveaway for the month of March with some sheet masks!
What's included?

Five Travel Hacks You’ll Love and a Downy Wrinkle Releaser Giveaway
Spring is finally here, and I'm teaming up with Downy Wrinkle Releaser Plus to share five travel hacks that you'll love, along with a great giveaway offer. One lucky winner will take home a Travel Pack from Downy Wrinkle Releaser Plus valued at $150 (including a $50 Target gift card!)

1. Roll; Don't Fold
As you pack, roll your clothes instead of folding them. You'll be able to fit up to two times the amount of clothing by rolling them as you would by folding them.
2. Pack your "Iron"
And by iron, we mean Downy Wrinkle Releaser Plus. The 3 oz travel size meets airline standards. Slip it into your carry-on bag, and with a simple spray, you'll be wrinkle free all trip long. (It's also a great fabric refresher if you have to wear your clothes more than once on vacation.) Click here to read more and grab a coupon.
3. Bring an Empty Water Bottle
After you get through security, several airports have filtered water stands to fill your bottle. You'll also find that most airport cafes will gladly fill your water bottle as well.
4. Snap a Picture
If you're checking your luggage, snap a picture of your suitcase contents before you leave the house. If the airline loses your luggage, you'll be able to use the picture to prove the value of the contents.
5. BYO Blanket
Blankets on airlines are hard to come by these days - and they're not always washed between flights. If you tend to get cold on planes, or you're going to be flying overnight, pack your own blanket to stay comfortable.
Giveaway ends at midnight on Friday, March 20, 2015. Open to US and Canada.
Complete the form below to enter. Good luck!

The K-Beauty Beginners Mask Kit #Giveaway #kbeautygiveaway
*This post contains affiliate links and I will receive a small commission if you make a purchase after clicking my link.*
Welcome to the K-Beauty Giveaway Blog Hop!
We are a group of bloggers joined together to bring you some of our favorite items found on our ever-growing Asian skincare journey. I hope you enjoy the giveaway I've put together for you in this post, and will visit the additional blogs found in the linky below.
It took some time for me to decide what I would love to share with you in this giveaway. Since I started my adventre with Memebox, I've been exposed to so many new and innovative Korean beauty items that I would have never found had I stuck to my usual Western skincare brands (sorry Neutrogena, I've met someone else...). My first thought was a some nice snail mucin products, then I remembered how so many people reacted when Memebox first released their Snail box, and realized that even though snail mucin is like a holy grain ingredient for my skin - it doesn't mean it would be a satisfactory prize for all of you! So I landed here....
I've decided on a staple comprised of items I've found through Memeboxes, and personally love: a Korean Beauty Mask Set! This prize consists of the following items featured in this photo:
Ettang Modeling Take-Out Cup Pack:
A cute Asian take-out style box filled with 7 modeling powder cups. Each cup is a different type of modeling pack that might moisturize, control oil, or just calm your face. You add roughly 3 tablespoons of water to the cup, mix it up with the spatula inside, then apply it to your face and neck with the spatula. You let it harden to a rubbery finish, then peel off and toss in the trash. Your skin will be soft, moisturized, and refreshed.
Skineralism Ice Whitening Bubble Pack:
This is a mask packet from the Bubble Pop Cosmetics box that I love. You apply it to your face and let it bubble up for 3 minutes, then rinse. It moisturizes and brightens your skin.
Tosowoong Help Me Neck Patch:
This is a sheet mask for your neck designed to smooth out lines. I received two in the My Mask Box and purchased more after I used the first one. You apply it to your neck, and lay down while it works it's magic for 15-20 minutes, and it smooths out lines and wrinkles. It's also very hydrating.
Brilliant LoveHeart Sparkling Powder envelope set:
This is another love of mine from the Bubble Pop Cosmetics box, but this is more of a rinse than a mask. You fill your basin with 5ml of water (I just filled mine half-way) and add envelope A. Swirl the water a bit then add envelope B and mix until dissolved. The water will carbonate, and you dip your face into the water repeatedly for 3-5 minutes. It sounds tedious, but it's like magic for your pores.
A'Pieu NonCo Tea Tree Spot Patches:
These are actually not from Memebox, but recommended by another blogger in this hop, Fanserviced-B. She put together an amazing post comparing several blemish spot patches, and these were a good choice. I love them!
Skinfood Royal Honey Mask:
This is a sample I received from a generous gal in a package I received, and after I tried the first one, I had to purchase the full size. This is a nice soothing, hydrating, honey based mask that is great for any skin type. Just smooth it on and rest for 10-20 minutes, and rinse off.
Purederm Wrinkle Reducer Gel Patches:
These are another item from the My Mask Box that are amazing for lines and wrinkles, but these are for under the eyes. They brighten the undereye area as well as smooth it out after 30 minutes. You can also leave these on overnight if you wish.
Benton Snail Bee High Content Mask Pack:
These are becoming one of my favorite sheet masks. They are cooling, soothing, acne-reducing, and just plain packed full of goodness for your skin.
Ddung Wash-Off Vitamin Mask Pack:
I tried a similar product from this line a while back and loved how moisturizing (without exacerbating my oiliness) it was. This particular mask came in my Miracle Masks box and I think it is the perfect quick mask pack for this time of year. Spread it on, let it soak in for 10 minutes, then rinse.
Purederm Cucumber Eye Pads:
These also came in my Miracle Masks box, but I tried the orange variety from my Mask Box #4 and they were soothing and brightening. These cucumber ones are supposed to add moisture and be extra soothing for sensitive eyes. Keep in the fridge for extra puffy-eye-reduction.
Meme-Mask:
This, my k-beauty friends, is my current favorite sheet mask. It's a hydro-gel mask that moisturizes any skin type and leaves your skin feeling pretty much perfect after use. I wrote up a whole review here on my blog if you're interested in learning more. I apply the mask and rest for about 20-30 minutes, then remove the two pieces.

#Purex Crystals Aromatherapy #Review
I'll admit, I'm a bit obsessed with laundry. I have a particular way I like to see it washed, and an order when it comes to what gets dried in the dryer, what gets hung to dry and how it all gets put away. There's just something I find so satisfying about clean laundry, and the only thing better than clean laundry- is clean laundry that smells amazing!
Purex has outdone themselves again with the way you and your laundry do your thing with NEW scents of Purex Crystals. Purex Crystals are an amazing in-wash scent booster and laundry enhancer that eliminates laundry odors while you wash. Coming to stores in mid-October this year are new Purex Crystals Aromatherapy scents in Energy, Well Being, and Serenity. These Aromatherapy scents use citrus and floral scented essential oils to infuse your laundry with energizing and long-lasting scents to match your mood.
Enter to win a coupon for your very own Purex Crystals Aromatherapy in a scent that your whole family will love.

Petbrosia dog food #Review & #Giveaway {Ends 6/21}
What if you could feed your pet a quality food free of corn, wheat, soy, and by-products. Sure, they may be foods like that available right now at the pet store, but what if you could keep these qualities in your pets food, have it delivered to your front door on your schedule, and have the food specifically tailored to your pets' individual needs? Enter Petbrosia. [See the following video for a great intro to Petbrosia.]
Petbrosia never uses additives or fillers in their food. That being said, it sounded like an ideal food to try with Venus. She struggles to loose weight, but doesn't eat a lot either, so what she does eat needs to be packed with the nutrients she needs, not fillers and junk.

Petbrosia's kibble is not very dense, so it's gentle on teeth. Something ideal for Ocean as well, since she is missing about half of her teeth. She usually eats soft food, but I do like letting her work her jaw and what teeth she has left, and some of Petbrosia's kibble was perfect for her - the size fit in her mouth perfectly, and it was very easy for her to chew.
The cost of Petbrosia averages to about $1.77 per day (based on a medium sized dog eating about 2 cups of kibble per day). Not bad at all considering the price of a cup of coffee from a gas station or coffee shop each morning. Isn't your pet worth it?
Petbrosia was easy for both Venus and Ocean to digest. There was minimal waste after eating, and the taste of the formula was good enough for them to finish their bowls before wandering around begging for treats! Overall I was really impressed with Petbrosia, and I could tell the girls really liked it too. It's definitely a food we'll consider continuing to feed in the future.
Right now, Baby and the Chi's readers can try a three pound box of Petbrosia completely tailored to your pet for just $9 (with free shipping!) using the code BR1XQ9. Please note that this offer is only available to new Petbrosia customers who have not been able to try their food in the past.
You can connect with Petbrosia on Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, Google Plus, and YouTube.
Petbrosia is also offering a 10 pound box of Petbrosia to one lucky reader! You can enter using the giveaway form below. Prize will be delivered by Petbrosia in the form of a coupon code to use on their website. Giveaway is open to US residents age 18+.
