Zignature Grain Free Dry Dog Food | #chewyinfluencer

Welcome!
In case you're new here and didn't already know, Venus, Mittens, and myself are part of the Chewy Influencer program, which means each month Venus gets to try something new that Chewy has to offer in their online store. Chewy.com has a wide variety of pet food ranging from wet to dry to raw to freeze dried, as well as treats, toys, and other pet supplies for cats, dogs, and more!

Our family was recently given the opportunity to try some new dog food for Venus; the Zignature Grain Free dry food. Of the varieties available, we received the Goat formula in a 4lb bag.

Please note that this item is a press sample, received in exchange for an honest review. This does not in any way influence my opinion of this product, but something I want to mention just so my readers are aware.

Venus eats a varied diet of both store bought and home cooked foods, and I personally believe the key to making all that work is not only a balanced variety of foods to round out her intake of vitamins and minerals.
Venus loves variety in her diet, and has never really shown an adverse effect to frequent changes in her food. In fact, she more often turns up her nose at her bowl if I give her the same food for too long. In turn, I serve a very wide rotation of foods with all different types of proteins and ingredients to keep her happy and interested in her meals.

Something I love about Zignature foods is that they are not only grain free but have straight forward ingredients - there are no fillers or common allergens.

Venus had never tried a food with Goat as a protein before, so this was a fun experience.

Venus is a 20lb chihuahua-terrier mix, for reference, and eats roughly a half cup of food a day along-side her morning "potty" treat.

In addition to the ingredients, I really appreciate that the kibble size for this food is relatively small. We had tried the Kangaroo formula of Zignature about a year ago, and the kibble size was large enough for Venus to turn her nose up at it until she was very hungry - I was pleased to see this difference here!

Overall, Venus has really enjoyed this food, and seeing she has enjoyed others from Zignature in the past I can safely say that they are a solid brand for my baby girl.

Thank you Chewy.com for allowing us the opportunity to try out this great dog food!
