Nutro Ultra Grain Free Filets in Gravy Dog Food | #chewyinfluencer

Welcome!
In case you're new here and didn't already know, Venus, Mittens, and myself are part of the Chewy Influencer program, which means each month Venus gets to try something new that Chewy has to offer in their online store. Chewy.com has a wide variety of pet food ranging from wet to dry to raw to freeze dried, as well as treats, toys, and other pet supplies for cats, dogs, and more!

For the month of September our family was given the opportunity to try out the Nutro Ultra Adult Dog Variety Pack Filets in Gravy. Of the varieties available, we received the Bistro mix for our dog, Venus, to try.

Please note that this item is a press sample, received in exchange for an honest review. This does not in any way influence my opinion of this product, but something I want to mention just so my readers are aware.

In the Bistro mix box, we received 6 trays of a Tender Beef Entree, and 6 trays of a Deluxe Chicken Entree. Each tray contains 3.5oz of soft dog food filets in a gravy mixture.

Something that drew me to this particular product is that this food is grain free. Venus has some grain allergies that we've struggled with since she was a puppy, and I appreciate that so many companies acknowledge that this is a common enough allergy to make foods like this mainstream.

This food works well as a kibble topper or on it's own - Venus' preference is on it's own, and on a plate so she can basically just lick it up.
With no additional food, the feeding instructions indicate to feed 2-3 trays per 10 pounds of body weight, per day. Venus weighs about 20 pounds, and we feed her one tray in the morning and one in the evening, in additional to dry kibble that is free-fed throughout the day.

The dried vegetables in this food threw her for a bit of a loop at first, but I think the overall flavors of each tray eventually won her over. After slowly tasting each tray she finally dug in and ate them quickly, and continued to do so for the remaining trays. In the end she really enjoyed this Nutro product.

Thank you Chewy for allowing us the chance to try this out!
