#Guerisson 9 Complex Horse Oil Hydrogel Gold Mask #Review

A few months ago I fell in love with my very first product containing horse oil. I know this is a controversial ingredient, but curiosity always gets the best of me and my skin instantly meshed with the Guerisson 9 Complex Essence. I'm currently testing other essences in it's place, but there's always room to try a new sheet masks! I'd been eyeing up the Guerisson Horse Oil Mask on Memebox for a long time and finally purchased one to stash away for a special occasion. I supposed dealing with internet trolls is a good a reason as any to pamper one's face, is it not? *sigh* Keep calm and sheet mask.

Guerisson 9 Complex Horse Oil Hydrogel Gold Mask
25g | Made in Korea by Claire's
This product was purchased by me.

Description:
This mask is geared towards providing anti-aging effects to the skin. Horse oil and gold extract work to repair and maintain elasticity, soft skin, and firmness. This mask is supposed to leave your skin radiant, moist, and healthy.

Ingredients:
Water, Glycerin, Butylene Glycol, Carob Bean Gum, Agar, Xanthan Gum, PEG-60 Hydrogenated Castor Oil, Chondrus Crispus (Carrageenan), Carbomer, Allantoin, Mica, Titanium Dioxide, CI 77491 (Red Iron Oxide), Horse Fat (500ppm), Disodium EDTA, Gold (.5ppm), Tocopheryl Acetate, retinyl palmitate, Birch, Cucumber Extract, Witch Hazel Extract, Portulaca Oleracea Extract, Beta-Glucan, Methylparaben, Fragrance
(Cosdna analysis)

Directions:
After cleansing and toning, remove mask from package and remove one side of the paper backing on the top half of the mask. Apply to top half of face and carefully remove outside layer of paper backing. Repeat for the lower half. Leave hydrogel mask on face for 15 to 20 minutes (or as long as you desire), remove and pat in remaining essence.

My skin is oily, dehydrated, acne-prone with hormonal cystic acne from PCOS and sensitive to alcohol, bee venom and propolis.

Performance:
The Horse Oil Hydrogel Gold Mask from Guerisson has a light grapefruit scent, just like the essence. The mask is a translucent gold color with mesh reinforcement embedded inside. It felt very nice against the skin - a bit cooling, but just overall refreshing. The mask fit my face perfectly - each piece was easy to apply and once both were applied my entire face was covered. I was able to wear the mask for 45 minutes before it dried out and needed to be removed.

Verdict:
This is a great fitting mask with an awesome wear-time as far as hydrogels are concerned. I found this mask to be brightening, hydrating, and (if my eyes aren't deceiving me) a bit tightening for both my skin and my pores. My face also looked calmer (redness and acne) afterwards, making this a definite repurchase for me!
