Didja here? Skinfood is finally here at Memebox! We are so excited to bring you our first ever Skinfood Box! Skinfood is the first ever Korean cosmetics brand to emphasize the importance of "feeding" the skin! Skinfood travels all over the world to find the highest quality ingredients to bring you first class cosmetics and skin care! All cosmetics are infused with a healthy blend of fruits, veggies, and your delicious treats to enhance your natural beauty. This box is brimming with a delicious mix of Skinfood's skin care and makeup to give you a beauty blast!
1. Skinfood: Facial Water Vita-C Cream; 75g
Full size product is 75g; $13
This cream smells really fresh, almost floral, and is lightly scented. The cream is thick in the jar, but is lightweight and not sticky. It applies into the skin smoothly and quickly, making it perfect for my oily skin. I'm excited to try using this more during the day before my makeup as the cold dry winter months come upon us. In the mean time, this will definitely get used before bed.
2. Skinfood: Black Sugar Mask Wash Off; 100g
Full size product is 100g; $9
This is a Skinfood product I've already been using for about a year. This is my favorite exfoliating scrub, and it doubles as a mask that really clears out your pores. When I first started using this mask I expected it to smell sugary, but I personally think it smells like Lemon Pledge. None-the-less, I love this scrubby mask and am overjoyed to see it in this box.
3. Skinfood: Egg White Pore Meringue Foam; 200ml
Full size product is 200ml; $13
I literally jumped and cheered when I saw the info card state this this cleanser is made specifically for sensitive oily skin types. This is *the* cleanser for me, and just in time as I recently ran out of a couple cleansers I had on hand too. It smells a little floral to me, but it does foam very well with the pump dispenser, and I feel like it really cleans deep down into my pores and helps keep me less oily during the day. The only downside is that it has a pH of 9.5, which is quite a bit higher than my face likes, so it definitely won't be used everyday, despite how wonderful it makes my face feel.
4. Skinfood: Tomato Whitening Toner; 180ml
Full size product is 180ml; $17
I don't know whether or not it's true, but I've seen in other products (like sheet masks) that contain tomato, that it's good for troubled skin. I'm so happy to see a toner in this box. Not only does this one sound perfect for my skin, but Memebox rarely sends out toners, so this is like a true win right here. I'm overjoyed! It smells like a sweet veggie garden, and really makes my skin feel smooth and refreshed.
5. Skinfood: Choco Eyebrow Powder Cake; 4g
Full size product is 4g; $5
I already have full thick eyebrows, so I haven't tried this yet, but I may end up keeping it because it is made with real cacao. Cacao is one of my all-time favorite ingredients to be used in skin care, and eyebrow powder is not going to be an exception. There were two possible compacts available, but I'm not sure which one I received. I'll be sure to update if I decide to try this product out or pass it along in a sale box.
This box had a really low overall value compared to other boxes, but it had the most exciting and usable products for me, so I call it a real win. I love this box and I'm so ecstatic that I was able to purchase it before it sold out.
