By the next diaper change, just an hour or so later, Bug bottom had already improved. I was delighted, but still saddened by the whole rash ordeal. I still had no idea why this all happened.
Today, there is no redness, and most of the sores are healed up, and all that are left are completely healed over. I did notice that his "man bits" are a bit raw, but I have a feeling that it has something to do with him eating more and drinking less, because I can smell his urine is much more strong, and it may be burning him during his nap. Hopefully that clears up by the end of today.
What frightens me the most about this is "what if it was yeast?" How will I ever know? I now know that the hot water in our apartment goes well above 130F. I thought that was hot enough to kill off bacteria and yeast? My head is swimming. Not as badly as when Bug had staph infection, but almost. I'd love to continue to hear your thoughts.
