This item was received as a gift.
Description:
This mask is supposed to hydrate the skin and repair damage with fermented ceramides and moisture-rich hydrogel.
Ingredients:
Water, Butylene Glycol, Glycerin, Niacinamide, Ceratonia Siliqua Gum, Chondrus Crispus Powder, Polyisobutene, Polyacrylate-13, Polysorbate 20, Panthenol, Cellulose gum, Phenoxyethanol, PEG-60 Hydrogenated Castor Oil, 1,2-Hexanediol, Allantoin, Ceramide 3, Agar, Ethylhexylglycerin, Adenosine, Disodium EDTA, Potassium Hydroxide
Cosdna analysis
Directions:
Apply the top piece of the hydrogel first, then apply the bottom - I find this helps you get each piece situated perfectly onto your face. Leave on your face for 20-40 minutes, remove, then pat in any remaining essence.
My skin is oily, dehydrated, acne-prone with hormonal cystic acne from PCOS and sensitive to alcohol, bee venom and propolis.
Performance:
This mask was easy to apply - it wasn't too flimsy but it also had enough support where it wasn't a hassle to stick to my face. It had no scent, and covered my whole face, minus a small bit on the sides of my nostrils. This mask felt very soothing, like it was healing my face while I was wearing it. It was a very comforting feeling, and my skin definitely enjoyed it! I was able to wear this mask for ~45 minutes before it dried too much.
Verdict:
This mask not only left my skin feeling hydrated and plump, but I also found it to be very brightening and calming for my skin as well. This is a great mask, and I'll definitely be restocking it in the future!

Snails On A Plane #Memebox #Review
Snails On A Plane Box by Fifty Shades of Snail
$26 for a $51 value!
Box Description: Holiday travel season is in full swing! Wondering how you're going to travel with your skincare routine without violating TSA liquid limits or your own limited patience for decanting and labeling? Fiddy Snails has your back with this hand-curated K-beauty travel set full of TSA-friendly favorites. Travel light and look great from departure to return!
Botanic Farm Grain Ferment Cleansing Sherbet | Travel Size 10ml ($3.00)
Description: Ever flown with a liquid makeup remover or cleansing oil before? Leaks and spills from oil-based products are no joke. The inside of your carryon will be safe from messes with this oil cleanser in solid form. Once you've reached your destination, the nourishing oils and fermented ingredients in the Botanic Farm Grain Ferment Cleansing Sherbet will dissolve all your makeup and sunscreen in a flash while moisturizing travel-dry skin.
Ingredients: Cosdna analysis
Directions: Massage a small amount onto dry face. Wet hands and massage again to emulsify. Rinse and follow with a mild foaming cleanser.
Fiddy Tip: Spread cleansing sherbet onto face and wait 5-15 minutes before massaging for a deeper cleanse.
Performance: This balm cleanser came in a cute little tub with a smooth and creamy texture. It had no scent (that I detected) and spread onto my skin easily. I loved how easily it melted down into an oil consistency when it was being massaged into my skin. Using Fiddy's Tip, I did find that this cleanser worked very well cleaning out my pores. This did a great job removing makeup and sunscreen - even waterproof eye makeup!
Tosowoong Enzyme Powder Wash | Full-Size 70g ($10.00)
Description: Cleansers are some of the most annoying products to travel with. Pump bottles often leak in transit, but if you decant, you end up with a massive pumpless inconvenience. This pH 5.5 powder cleanser gets skin sparkling clean and buttery smooth. And since it's a dry product, it leaves more room for the rest of your skincare goodies! Who knows? You might never go back to your liquid cleanser again!
Ingredients: Cosdna analysis
Directions: Shake a small amount onto palm. Add water and lather. Massage over face. Rinse.
Fiddy Tip: Tosowoong Enzyme Powder Wash doubles as a gentle exfoliating scrub. Use slightly more product and slightly less water than usual. The undissolved grains will remove dead skin cells as you cleanse.
Performance: This has quickly become my holy grail cleanser - my face cannot live without out! Ok, maybe that's an exaggeration, but are you really going to question a woman when she's only had four hours of sleep? Yeah... This cleanser has a nice low pH of ~5.5, comes in a powder form, dispenses one "use" at a time, and foams up very easily both between your hands or with a foaming net or cleansing brush. I personally love this cleanser paired up with the I'm Meme Pore Brush - they are a match made in heaven! Love how smooth and bright my skin is after I use this cleanser, and it works well for me both day and night. Because it is an exfoliating cleanser (due to the papaya extract) I generally just use it once a day - at night - but it does work well at either point in your routine.
Tosowoong Sheet Masks 3pcs- Propolis, Deep Sea Water, Snail | Full-Size 23g ($6.00)
Description: Cold weather and winter travel can take a serious toll on skin. Plump a parched face back up with one of these intensely hydrating, brightening sheet masks. Sheet masking on airplanes is totally a Thing now! Even if you're not quite brave enough to join the sheet mask jet set, keep a couple of these handy for the end of a stressful evening or to prep for a special event.
Directions: After cleansing and toning, fit over face. Relax for 20-45 minutes.
Fiddy Tip: After removing your sheet mask, while face is still damp, seal in the hydration with a couple of drops of facial oil or a thin layer of moisturizer for maximum softness and lasting effects.
Performance: I have a full review of each of these masks already on my blog:
>Propolis
>Deep Sea Water
>Snail
Mediheal E.G.T. Essence Gel Eyefill Patch | Full-Size 5pcs ($12.00)
Description: The skin around eyes is especially prone to drying out and showing stress. These tightening, brightening eye patches will revive tired under eyes so you can look well rested even if you've been up all night on a redeye flight.
Ingredients: Cosdna analysis
Directions: After cleansing and toning, apply patches to undereye area. Relax for 10-15 minutes.
Fiddy Tip: Refrigerate before use to maximize de-puffing power. Fiddy Tip 2: Slap a pair of thes e on in the morning and then hit the snooze button!
Performance: Ahh yes, the eye patch that got me hooked on eye patches! Seriously, I never saw the point, until I tried these gels. They are comfortable, cooling, and depuff my undereye area perfectly. Love them!
Sulwhasoo Overnight Vitalizing Mask | Travel Size 30ml ($20.00)
Description: This is the only item in the Snails on a Plane Box that counts towards your TSA liquid limits, and believe us, it's 30ml of baggie space well spent. Packed full of ginseng and other traditional medicinal herbs, this smooth, silky cream moisturizes and primes skin perfectly for makeup in the morning and acts as an intensive treatment mask overnight, letting you wake up with firm and radiant skin no matter how little sleep you get during your holiday travels.
Ingredients: Cosdna analysis
Directions: After cleansing and toning, apply a small amount during the day and a larger amount at night.
Fiddy Tip: For maximum overnight effectiveness, apply in two thin layers rather than one thick layer before bed.
Performance: I actually have not tried this yet - it's the only thing from the box that I haven't tried - but I'll update once I get to point where I'm ready to test it!
Overall: I really think this was a well-rounded box, and the price point was great! Fiddy did a great job collaborating with Memebox and I hope to see this (or something similar) brought back later on!

#Elizavecca #MilkyPiggy Donkey Steam Cream Mask #Review
You all know about my love affair with Elizavecca by now, and more than likely about my adoration for donkey milk in my skincare products - so when I found these donkey milk sheet masks on Jolse a few months ago I instantly had to order them. It was shortly before I started trentinoin in my Curology script - so I figured even my oily skin could use a deeply hydrating steam cream mask, right?
Elizavecca Milky Piggy Silky Creamy Donkey Steam Cream Mask Pack
25ml | Made in Korea
This product was purchased by me.
Description:
This is a heavy moisturizing mask pack containing donkey milk. This mask is supposed to deliver shine, moisture, smooth texture, elasticity, nutrition and flexibility to the skin.
Ingredients:
Purified Water, Glycerin, Butylene Glycol, Grape Seed Oil, Sodium Hyaluronate, Caprylic/Capric Triglyceride, Glyceryl Stearate, Polysorbate 60, Shea Butter, Cetearyl Alcohol, Cyclopentasiloxane, Dimethicone/Vinyl Dimethicone Crosspolymer, Dimethicone, Witch Hazel Extract, Cirtus Paradisi (Grapefruit) Fruit Extract, Centella Asiatica Extract, Hydrolyzed Collagen, Pomegranate Extract, Sea Grape Extract, Seaweed Extract, Hexapeptide-1, Chlorphenesin, Carbomer, Tocopheryl Acetate, Allantoin, Disodium EDTA, Arginine, Donkey Milk (100ppm), Perfume
(Cosdna analysis)
Directions:
Squeeze the cream around inside the mask packet to evenly distribute it throughout the mask material. Cut away a corner of the packet and squeeze out the excess cream into a clean container. Open the packet and apply the mask - spread extra cream on the mask material if needed. Leave on face for 15-20 minutes then remove. Pat in remaining cream essence, and use the excess as needed as a facial or body moisturizer.
My skin is oily, dehydrated, acne-prone with hormonal cystic acne from PCOS and sensitive to alcohol, bee venom and propolis.
Performance:
This mask has a very light perfume scent to it. It does disappear shortly after you apply it, but when you first open the packet it can be slightly off-putting. I tried this mask several times to get the combo of sheet mask and cream just right and I have to say that for oily skin like mine, it's best to remove a majority of the cream from the packet then apply the mask. It will feel a little dry, but the cream is oily enough to help the mask adhere to your skin as long as you're not doing cartwheels in your living room. If you have a mask cover, that is going to help a lot with this mask.
You can apply more cream if the mask feels too dry, but the more cream you apply the thicker the "steaming" layer is on your skin, and if you have skin like mine you'll have more sweat on your face than moisturizing cream. This mask works well as a final step if you're skin isn't super dry - the cream soaks in while the mask is on and leaves a layer on your skin after removal. Even after patting in the remainder, you can still feel the protective hydrating film on your skin.
Verdict:
Though this may be a bit too heavy of a mask for oily skin like mine, I can really appreciate the hydrating and protective features of this mask - and how plump and bright my skin looks in the morning is completely worth it. The excess of cream essence is a bonus as well - I love using it as an emulsion on my face at night, and on my arms and hands when they are dry.
Available at Jolse and Memebox*.

#NaturalBalance Wild Pursuit Grain Free Dog Treats #Review #Chewy
For the month of January we were busy welcoming the New Year by trying new things. One of those things is a new healthy treats sent to us by Chewy.com from Natural Balance.
Natural Balance offers two varieties in a line called Wild Pursuit Lung Bites; Lamb and Venison. Venus has been trying their Wild Pursuit High Protein Lamb Lung Bites, which are made from 100% natural New Zealand Dehydrated Lamb Lung without the addition of any artificial flavors, colors, or preservatives. They are nearly as natural as you can get without feeding completely raw meat to your lucky pup!
These treat are both grain and gluten free, are high in protein, contain less than 8 calories per piece, break up easily for smaller dogs, and are made right here in the United States.
Venus loves the Natural Balance Wild Pursuit Lamb Lung Bites. They are a natural, practically raw, healthy treat that I feel confident feeding her. You can find them at Chewy, along with other Natural Balance pet treats and food.
