Elizavecca Donkey Creamy Cleansing Melting Cream [Review]

Elizavecca Donkey Piggy Donkey Creamy Cleansing Melting Cream
Made in Korea | 100g
This product was received for the purpose of review.

Description: A deep cleansing product, both a cleansing oil and cleansing cream in one.
Dissolve your makeup and cleanse your face after a long day with donkey milk and camellia oil mild cleansing cream. Instead of the hassle of tiresome double cleansing, use both a cleansing oil and cleansing cream in one! Deep pore cleansing, makeup removal, clean rinsing, and no stickiness or residue.

Ingredients: [Cosdna analysis] Purified water, Mineral oil, PEG-7 Glyceryl Cocoate, soybean oil, Isononyl Isononanoate, jojoba seed oil, propolyene glycol, PEG-40 stearate, glycerin, glyceryl stearate, beeswax, Stearic Acid, Microcrystalline Wax, Sorbitan Oleate, Camellia Oil, Donkey Milk, PEG-100 Stearate, Lanolin, Dimethicone, Cetearyl alcohol, Benzyl glycol, Butoxydiglycol, Raspberry ketone, Triethanolamine, Tocopheryl Acetate, Xanthan Gum, Perfume, Disodium EDTA

Directions: Apply cleansing cream to skin, and massage into skin for 1-2 minutes. Remove by gently rinsing with water, or wiping away with tissue. Second cleansing is not required to clean up after the cleansing cream.

My skin is oily, dehydrated, acne-prone with hormonal cystic acne from PCOS and sensitive to alcohol, bee venom and propolis.

Performance: The Donkey Creamy Cleansing Melting Cream from Elizavecca comes in a heavy-duty glass jar with an aluminum screw-on lid. I have mixed feelings about this packaging - it's cute, sturdy, and works well; but because of the oily nature of this product it leaks easily while the jar is full. The jar had leaked a small amount during transit, but only some separated oil had escaped and it was easy to clean up - I'd recommend ordering during a cold time of year so it's more solid during shipping.
The texture is oily, creamy, and smooth. It spreads easily onto the skin, and melts away very quickly against the warmth of your skin. Because this cleanser is a mix between both a cream and an oil, it's an excellent makeup remover! By following the directions and massaging the cleanser onto my hand for two minutes, the melting cleanser removed all but a small amount of the blue eyeliner - and to be fair, the following morning those blue marks were still there, that eyeliner is crazy strong!

Verdict: This cleanser does a great job removing most makeup, and can be used as both a first step or only cleanser as it does rinse away very well. I prefer to use it as a first cleanser followed by a second cleanser. I love how soft it leaves my skin feeling, and how bright and clean it looks afterwards. It can be a bit greasy for the eyes, but if you keep them closed it works well there too! This is a cleanser I would repurchase.

Available on eBayElizaveccaWeMakePrice, and Memebox*.

Exuviance Pigment Lifting Mask [Review]

Exuviance Pigment Lifting Masque
Made in the United States | 18ml
This product was received free to review.

Description: Treat yourself to a pampering, intensive skin-transforming experience with this unique masque. The concentrated formula is packed with powerful ingredients selected to deliver specific brightening benefits, diminishing the look of dark spots and uneven pigmentation, so skin looks younger.
Specifically designed to adjust to fit any face, simply press the masque on your skin to adhere and lock in the active-rich formula, letting your skin absorb all the benefits of the brightening ingredients. Our patented NeoGlucosamine® gently exfoliates, helping to break up existing dark spots and creating more even pigment and youthful tone. Vitamin C takes the brightening process one step further, helping to diminish the look of existing dark spots and prevent the formation of new spots. The lightly hydrating serum leaves skin luminous and cushioned with moisture. Experience beautiful results when you lift off this special masque. Reveal a younger looking, brighter complexion with more even tone.

Ingredients: [Cosdna analysis] Aqua (Water), Trimethylolpropane Tricaprylate/Tricaprate, Butylene Glycol, Acetyl Glucosamine, Glycerin, Polysorbate 20, Ascorbyl Glucoside, Acetyl Tyrosinamide, 4-Butylresorcinol, Citric Acid, Phospholipids, Caprylic/Capric Triglyceride, Dimethicone, Citrus Aurantium Dulcis (Orange) Fruit Extract, Citrus Aurantium Dulcis (Orange) Peel Extract, Elettaria Cardamomum Seed Extract, Lavandula Angustifolia (Lavender) Flower Extract, Plumeria Rubra Flower Extract, Prunus Armeniaca (Apricot) Fruit Extract, Hedychium Spicatum Extract, Vanilla Planifolia Fruit Extract, Eugenia Caryophyllus (Clove) Flower Extract, Hibiscus Abelmoschus Extract, Gardenia Tahitensis Flower Extract, Polianthes Tuberosa Extract, Pyrus Malus (Apple) Fruit Extract, Jasminum Officinale (Jasmine) Flower Extract, Ceteth-24, Ceteareth-20, Steareth-2, Cetearyl Alcohol, PEG-100 Stearate, Glyceryl Stearate, Ammonium Hydroxide, Sodium Citrate, Limonene, Hydroxycitronellal, Linalool, Benzyl Alcohol, Phenoxyethanol, Caprylyl Glycol, Chlorphenesin, CI 60730 (Ext. Violet 2), CI 42090 (Blue 1).

Directions: Masques are single use. After cleansing, place the masque over the entire face, gently smoothing the fabric onto skin. Leave the masque on for 10 minutes allowing skin to absorb the potent brighteners. After 10 minutes, remove and discard the masque, massaging excess solution into the skin. Follow with a moisturizer. For best results, use with Exuviance® OptiLight products.

Performance: The Pigment Lifting Masque from Exuviance comes in a single-use foil envelope. The mask itself has a very light scent, and is blue in color. The essence is very dry - this made it a little difficult for the mask to adhere to my face properly. Also, because of the dryness, the mask barely lasted the 10 minutes recommended on the packaging.

Verdict: Even though this mask was dry, and dried out completely very quickly, it did do a nice job brightening my hyper-pigmentation. These results were temporary, however, but with continued use there might be a more permanent effect. I definitely think these are nice before a special event.

Skin79 "Honey" Fresh Garden Mask [Review]

Skin79 Fresh Garden Mask - Honey
Made in Korea | 23g
This item was purchased by me.
Description: A nourishing and moisturizing face mask that gives the skin a dewy and translucent glow. This mask balances the skin’s hydration levels to maintain the skin’s soft and firm texture. The mask sheet is carefully designed to make sure the nutrients from the essence gets absorbed by the skin. In addition, this mask is infused with a relaxing scent derived from natural fruit oils and herbs that will surely make your skin pampering a very relaxing experience. With Pure Bee Honey as its key ingredient, this mask gives an ample amount of moisture to the skin while also acting as a natural antibiotic to get rid of unwanted skin troubles. -Memebox

Ingredients: [Cosdna analysis] Water, Glycerin, Butylene Glycol, Dipropylene Glycol, Carbomer, Honey Extract (10,000PPM), Camellia Sinensis Leaf Extract, Hamamelis Virginiana (Witch Hazel) Extract, Aloe Barbadensis Leaf Extract, Morus Alba Bark Extract, Sodium Hyaluronate, Betaine, Trehalose, Allantoin, Phenoxyethanol, PEG-60 Hydrogenated Castor Oil, 1,2-Hexanediol, Propanediol, Caprylyl Glycol, Illicium Verum (Anise) Fruit Extract, Bis-PEG-18 Methyl Ether Dimethyl Silane, Disodium EDTA, Sodium Polyacrylate, Ethylhexylglycerin, Fragrance

Directions: After cleansing and toning, place the mask onto the face and leave it for 10 to 20 minutes. After the allotted time, remove the mask and pat the remaining essence on the skin to allow better absorption.

My skin is oily, dehydrated, acne-prone with hormonal cystic acne from PCOS, and sensitive to alcohol and propolis.

Performance: The Fresh Garden Honey Mask from Skin79 is made of 100% cotton; it's soft, pliable, and is comfortable to fit and wear. When I opened the package I smelled a bit of a chemical scent, but after removing the mask from the package it smelled like sugary honey. There was a bit of essence dripping, but once the mask was applied it started to absorb fairly quickly. I'm not sure if it's the products I used beforehand, the thinness of the essence, or how dehydrated my face is right now - but this mask dried up within ~25 minutes. Not bad I guess, but a bit shorter than I prefer when masking.

Verdict: When I removed the mask I noticed that my face was a bit red. I don't feel like my skin was irritated at all, but it did feel very cold to the touch - I think the redness if from the drop in temperature, not irritation. I didn't notice any brightness or dramatic changes in my skin, but my skin felt moist. The essence absorbed completely and left no sticky residue behind.
When checking my skin with my moisture meter, I realized that my this mask did not increase my skins' moisture content too well at all. Unfortunately with no real noticeable results, this is not a mask I would repurchase.
