My Skincare Christmas Wish list | #AltheaKorea #AltheaAngels

The holidays are here, and I'd be lying if I said I was prepared. I've been struggling - bad - and my routine has been nearly non-existent most days. With that in mind, I wanted to share some items that I found to spark my interest in caring for my skin (and self) again.

1. SAINT PEAU RED GINSENG HORSE PUDDING SLEEPING PACK
Although the ingredient is controversial, it's no secret that I love horse oil skincare products. The oil is very similar to the oils found in our own skin, and I find it really helps heal my skin, and keep it looking smooth and clear. This sleeping pack really caught my eye because of it's pudding texture - as most horse oil creams are quite heavy - and the inclusion of red ginseng, another favorite anti-aging ingredient of mine.

2. BELIF HUNGARIAN WATER ESSENCE
I'm a sucker for "filler" skincare - not fillers like wasted ingredients, but products that fill out my routine and add in moisture and other added benefits. This Belif Essence caught my eye because it appears to be quite simple but still adds in a nice layer of hydration. This sounds like exactly what I need to boost my skin without triggering a major breakout.

3. CP-1 CP-1 RASPBERRY HAIR VINEGAR
My hair has been positively awful lately - dry and falling out more than usual. I also still have buildup on my scalp from psoriasis, so I have to be careful what I use. This hair vinegar really has been on my wishlist for a while now, and I need to just pull the trigger already.

4. NACIFIC PHYTO NIACIN WHITENING ESSENCE
Neglect quickly leads to skin that looks dull, and frankly that's the first thing that comes to mind right now when I glance in the mirror. My skin is dull and showing it's age - I could certainly use the boost of brightening this essence has to offer.

5. INNISFREE ECO SCIENCE EYE CREAM
I've always been on the fence about eye creams - whether they really are beneficial as an extra step or not. And while sometimes I feel like they have been, I've accepted that I've reached the point in my life where I need to make that extra effort whether I see a noticeable difference right away or not, because in the long run I know my skin needs extra help with all the fine lines and dryness I am starting to see in that area. This cream from Innsifree seems like it would fit the bill but still be lightweight enough to not cause congestion or acne.

6. INNISFREE SOYBEAN ENERGY ESSENCE EX
I wasn't kidding when I said I loved skincare that filled out an existing or sparse routine... This soybean essence has been something else I've been wanting to try for a long time, and I think right now it would be a great first essence boosting both hydration and anti-aging properties in my skin.

7. SKIN&LAB RED SERUM
Keeping anti-aging benefits in mind, I really want to try out this Red Serum, and see if it does help boost collagen as it claims. Maybe it's the bright red bottle, but I feel like this serum is towards the top of my list.

8. THE FACE SHOP INK LASTING FOUNDATION SLIM FIT
If I'm being totally honest, I haven't worn makeup in nearly two years. But in an effort to build my self confidence back up I've been playing around with eyeshadow again, and realized that I have no foundation or bb cream to help even out my face. This formula claims to have a natural  "second skin" finish that I think I'd really enjoy. I can't stand caky makeup!

9. PURITO ABP TRIPLE SYNERGY LIQUID
This Purito product combines AHA, BHA, and PHA to create a gentle but [hopefully] effect chemical exfoliant, which would help keep my skin looking clean, feeling smooth, and staying clear. I actually use something similar from Glossier right now, and would love to try this and see how it compares.

10. INNISFREE PERFECT UV PROTECTION CREAM TRIPLE CARE SPF50+ PA+++
This is the last item on my wishlist right now, but it's probably one of the most important considering my current skin goals. This sunscreen is appealing to me because it contains chemical filters which my skin seems to respond to the best. Chemical filters tend to make my skin itchy, and it really is a turn-off for sunscreen in general, which isn't good considering how important sun protection is.

So there we have it - what are some skin care items you've had your eye on this season?
