American Journey Wild Alaskan Salmon Oil | #ChewyInfluencer

In case you're new here and didn't already know, Venus and I are part of the Chewy Influencer program, which means each month Venus gets to try something new that Chewy has to offer in their online store. Chewy.com has a wide variety of pet food ranging from wet to dry to raw to freeze dried, as well as treats, toys, and other pet supplies for cats, dogs, and more! For the month of May, Chewy sent Venus a tube of American Journey Wild Alaskan Salmon Oil to try.
This item is a press sample, received in exchange for an honest review.

Venus eats a varied diet of both store bought and home cooked foods, and I personally believe the key to making all that work is not only a balanced variety of foods but also a nice balance of supplements. I was excited to try a new fish oil supplement with Venus, as she hasn't had one in her diet for a while.

Salmon oil is beneficial to dogs because it is high in Omega 3 fatty acids. The most commonly recognized benefit of omega 3 is a shiny coat and healthy skin, but it also helps improve inflammation in the hips and joints, regulate the immune system, promote higher function of the kidneys and liver, and can help brain development in puppies.

I feed Venus two teaspoons of American Journey Salmon Oil daily, mixed into her regular food. I felt confident feeding her American Journey because it contains only salmon oil, mixed with a single preservative - no crazy additives.

Venus loves the American Journey Wild Alaskan Salmon Oil that it took zero coaxing to get her to try it like it has with other brands in the past. It has a very light but natural odor, and she loves the taste so much she'll even eat it alone!

Thank you Chewy!
