My Mask Stash | Week 8 #mymaskstash

Here's a look at the masks I used the week of August 30th:

Dermal: Cherry Blossoms Collagen Essence Mask
Dermal is one of those brands who produces cheaper masks that just happen to work really well for my skin. This mask had a very light floral scent, and the mask itself was a thicker cozy cotton. This mask gave some much-needed moisture back to my skin, and calmed my face down.

Nakuko: Raw Job's Tears (Supercritical CO2 Pore Minimizing & Brightening Mask)
This mask was one of the softest I'd ever put on my face, the material really is incredible. It's thin, but really holds a lot of essence. This mask also had no detectable scent. After removal my face appeared brighter and much smoother.

Leaders: Coconut Gel Mask with Orange
This is one of my go-to masks that I like to use when my face is looking and feeling extra damaged. The vitamin c in this mask always brightens up my complexion and makes my face look a bit clearer.

Freeset: Healing Donkey Milk Skin Gel Mask Pack
This is one of my absolute favorite masks, I've been using one a week, so I'll copy what I wrote previously: It has a slightly herbal scent, and has a gel essence adhered to a fabric sheet. It's cooling and very soothing when applied, and it seems to really help my face demons calm down.

Leaders: Amino Clearing Mask
This mask really holds onto the essence! It's very thin, but the weave allows the mask to hold a lot. It felt very cooling and soothing, and really helped lessen the pain I was experiencing from my acne.

Ettang: Charcoal Modeling Pack
I'm a big fan of modeling packs for their immediate brightening and calming effects on the skin. These masks come as powder in a cup that you add water to and mix up, then apply to your face. It hardens to a rubbery mask that you peel away and toss in the trash. This charcoal one wasn't quite as nice as I expected it to be - I was hoping it would help my acne a bit, but it honestly didn't that I noticed.

VDL: Beauty Trip London (Black Tea)
This mask smelled like sweetened black tea, it was so wonderful! This mask felt very tingly on my face, it was an odd feeling, but did not cause any irritation. The black tea in this mask is supposed to purify and sooth irritated and distressed skin. I felt like it probably helped my acne a bit.

  1. Ooo....you've added some more masks to my wishlist!! I'm currently in the purging stage of introducing actives (yay! eye roll) so that amino acid one sounds fantastic! Tried the Dermal bamboo one last night and wasn't super impressed...nothing wrong with it but nothing that made me go wow either. Maybe try this Rose one and see if I like it better. Where did you find the Beauty Trip London and Naruko masks if you don't mind me asking? Really liking the ingredient lists on those ones!!
