Chewy.com sent Venus a bottle of Advantage flea treatment shampoo to try, and share the results with you all. Below you will find a product description provided by the company, as well as my experience with the product and my honest opinion of it.
Advantage II Treatment Shampoo for Dogs & Puppies is an unscented shampoo for the treatment of fleas and ticks. Do not repeat treatment for 7 days. Do not use on puppies under 12 weeks old.

Ingredients: 0.150% Pyrethrins, 0.300% Piperonyl Butoxide, 0.479% MGK 264 Insecticide Synergist
For a treatment shampoo, this has a nice fresh scent that is pleasant to use. It lathers nicely, and rinses away easily, and doesn't seem to leave Venus' fur or skin dry. There was no irritation experienced from using this shampoo either. This is a great way to prevent or treat a flea infestation, and to kill ticks on your dog as well. With as bad as these parasites are getting this year, it's best to be on top of the problem before it even starts. So far this product has been great, we haven't noticed a single flea or tick on Venus, and we'll continue to use it for the remainder of the warm season here in Minnesota!
