Directions: Apply using the puff applicator, press puff applicator down onto the the cushion. Tap lightly and closely to the skin all over the face for an even and smooth look. Build and apply product as needed.

I recently fell in love with cushion pacts and this item was my main reason for ordering this box. However, upon trying to swatch the color, I noticed the cushion was completely clean and dry, so I am waiting to hear back from Memebox about this product. Hopefully more info is to come!

2. Peripera Peri's Tint Water 002 Pink Juice (mini size 2.5ml)

Benefits: Moisturizing
Achieve the perfect pout with this lip tint. This water-ful lip tint stains the lips for a long lasting effect and creates a natural yet vivid cherry hue. The lasting power of this tint coats your lips with a seal of moisture and creates a perfect stain. Formulated with a fruit complex that heals and moisturizes the lips on-the-go.
Directions: Apply lip tint onto lips, tissue off if you want a matte lip.
#memetip: Create a gradient lip, apply concealer over your lips and outer corners of lips, and apply the lip product to the middle of your inner upper and bottom lip for a burst of color.

I've received this tint before, but in the red color. I enjoy the tint this "juice" offers, but it doesn't last long. Since it's water-based I find that this tint comes up quickly, especially if you're eating or drinking.

3. Skinfood Fresh Fruit Lip & Cheek: Grapefruit (Full-Size 6g)

A multi-use blusher. Use it on your lips and/or cheeks. A creamy and blend-able formula, this blusher has a deliciously fruity scent. Give the apples of your cheeks and lips a romantic hue and highlight your face with this subtle color.
Directions: Using your tip of your ring finger apply product to your lip or cheek for a fresh flush of color.

This creamy tint sounds like a nice product, which I may use on my cheeks in the future. I've actually never used a cream blush before, so I'm a little nervous about this product and haven't opened it yet.

4. Missha The Style Mascara 4D (Full-Size 7g)

Aim your lashes to the sky! Expertly formulated with vegetable ingredients, this waterproof clump-free mascara makes unbelievable lashes. Featuring a brush that perfectly separates, lengthens and adds volume to create a pair of luscious lashes. Water, smudge and flake proof.
Directions: After curling lashes, apply mascara in upward motions wiggling the wand back and forth Pull up the wand in wiggling motion from the root. Apply 2-3 coats by personal preference.

This is a natural mascara, which is nice I'm sure for some people, but I've found in the past that it's a formula that doesn't quite work well enough for me. I'm a fan of huge, voluminous lashes - and vegetable based (or natural) formulas give just that.. natural results. I'll pass this along to someone blessed with nicer lashes than I who can enjoy this mascara's true form a bit more than myself.

5. XO Memebox: I'm Series Eyeliner Randomly selected from assortment (Full-Size 5g)

From our very own collection- our waterproof gel eyeliners are long lasting, smudge proof, and have an amazing color payoff. Glides on easily and dries within 30 seconds for long lasting, all day wear. Retractable tip, built in sharpener, and smudge tip to help you achieve a sultry and seductive eye look.
Directions: Simply line your upper lash line, and blend out the line using the smudge tip end to create a semi-smokey eye.
#memetip: Line between your lashes and your waterline for a sharper, bolder and more defined eye.

Of all the random colors I could have received from the I'm Eyeliner line by Memebox, I received color 02; Night - which is a plain, everyday black. I'm pleased that it's a color I will most definitely use, but almost sad I didn't get a "fun" color to play around with. The formula of this pencil is smooth and creamy, but not too soft where I'll have trouble applying it. It smudges nicely, and once it sets it seems to stay put fairly well.

6. Skinfood: Fresh Celery Cleansing Tissue (Full-Size 81g)

Benefits: Cleansing, Refreshing, Purifying
A cleansing tissue featuring celery extract that removes make-up residue and impurities to provide fresh, clean and refreshed skin without a sticky after feel. Clears off the days make-up residue and impurities from your skin and go to bed with clean, pure and refreshed skin.
Directions: Peel off sticker from attached opening half way, and take a tissue out and remove makeup by gently wiping the tissue across the face in up and outward motions.
#memetip: To get off heavier or waterproof eye/lip/face makeup, press tissue down over designated area for a minute or two and then wipe off.

One can never really go wrong with cleansing wipes. And these came just in time as I use up my last package from The Face Shop! These feel nice and fresh and do a nice job removing my eye makeup before I continue on with my cleansing balm at night.


The "Korean Makeup Starter Kit" is a nice baseline box for someone looking to start up their Korean makeup stash, such as I am. I am overloaded with Western brands and products, but I am definitely lacking in the wondrous Asian world of beauty beyond my initial skincare routine.
