Carla and Leo's World of Dance {book} Review

I was contacted by the publisher of Carla and Leo's World of Dance, Period Media, about this review, and even though Bug isn't quite old enough to enjoy it, I thought it would still be fun to look over and share with you! Written by Agatha Relota, this book is an incredible introduction to both music and dancing.

"The book teaches children not only about music, dancing, and staying active, but also about culture, geography, and friendship"

The illustrations, which were done by Thierry Perez, would instantly catch any child's attention. Even J glanced over and said "wow!" Each and every page is full of color and beautifully expresses the dance being "taught" by the book.

One of my favorite things about Carla and Leo's World of Dance is that, not only do they make it fun to learn to dance, but they teach the history of music and make it just as fun!

Your child (or you) can learn about:

  • The Waltz

  • The Foxtrot

  • The Swing

  • The Merengue

  • The Mambo

  • The Cha-Cha

  • The Rumba

  • The Salsa

  • The Tango

  • The Salsa

All taught to Carla and Leo by their teacher, Miss Paulina, and shared with your child (and you) all in this book.

You can learn more about Carla and Leo's World of Dance on their website, Facebook or Twitter, and can purchase the book on Amazon.
