I was contacted by the publisher of Carla and Leo's World of Dance, Period Media, about this review, and even though Bug isn't quite old enough to enjoy it, I thought it would still be fun to look over and share with you! Written by Agatha Relota, this book is an incredible introduction to both music and dancing.
"The book teaches children not only about music, dancing, and staying active, but also about culture, geography, and friendship"
The illustrations, which were done by Thierry Perez, would instantly catch any child's attention. Even J glanced over and said "wow!" Each and every page is full of color and beautifully expresses the dance being "taught" by the book.
One of my favorite things about Carla and Leo's World of Dance is that, not only do they make it fun to learn to dance, but they teach the history of music and make it just as fun!
Your child (or you) can learn about:
The Waltz
The Foxtrot
The Swing
The Merengue
The Mambo
The Cha-Cha
The Rumba
The Salsa
The Tango
The Salsa
All taught to Carla and Leo by their teacher, Miss Paulina, and shared with your child (and you) all in this book.
You can learn more about Carla and Leo's World of Dance on their website, Facebook or Twitter, and can purchase the book on Amazon.

I've talked about my struggle to keep things organized in my diaper bag, but now it's time to talk about the diaper bag. While I was pregnant I thought I had found the perfect bag. It was larger than most others I'd seen, had amble outside pockets seemed to hold everything at the time. Then we decided to use cloth diapers...
I needed a new diaper bag, desperately.
I stumbled upon Ore Originals on another blog while reading about their Weekender Bag. I contacted them, and they graciously offered me a tote bag to review! I received a SugarBooger Day Tripper in Dia de los Muertos. Now, the Day Tripper is not specifically designed to be used as a diaper bag, but it's a versatile bag, and since any "day trips" I may take involve hauling Bug's belongings, I chose to use it that way.
When I first pulled the bag out of the package, J's exact words were "You plan on moving Bug's diaper bags into that..." Yes, at first glance, the bag looked small. And yes, I was currently carrying around 2 diaper bags to hold everything I felt I needed.
Of course, we were both wrong. The Day Tripper gets it's space from having a 11.5" square bottom. Which tapers up to an 18" wide top. I will personally retract J's statement and tell you right now, that compared to any of my other bags, this one is huge! Not obnoxiously huge, but I can fit everything in here, and still zip it closed!
My favorite feature of this bag are the "sections" inside. I honestly think that having the inside of the bag more divided makes a world of difference in how you pack the bag, and how well everything fits.I pack bottles and food on the left, my wallet and personal items on the right, and diapers, clothing and miscellaneous in the main part of the bag.
This may not look like much, but this is everything I actually got in the bag, with some room to spare!
4- 8 ounce bottles
2- 4 ounce bottles
One container of Gerber puffs
3 diapers
2 wet bags
one pouch of reusable wipes
one pack of disposable face wipes
3 toys
my Diaper Bag Wrangler wet bag with diaper rash cream, paci and clip, sunscreen, pins and extra ponytails
extra shirt and babylegs for Bug
2 burp rags
baby food, spoon and bib
I don't use the key ring on the front, but I do keep my cell phone and keys in the front pocket. I thought I would miss my other outside pockets, but being able to access the 2 side compartments of the bag while it's zipped makes up for that.
Even fully stuffed, this bag is super comfy to carry around. Yep, it's cute, comfortable, functional and spacious. I think I've found our permanent solution for a diaper bag!

When "The Diaper Bag Wrangler" told me she had just came out with a new mini zippered wet bag, I thought she read my mind. I've been losing tiny items in the diaper bag every since Bug was born. I struggled to keep things organized and within reach, but never thought that I should just use a small bag for all those little things.
I can tell how much pride this mama takes in her work, by how nice and neat everything looked when it arrived.
The first thing I noticed was the beautiful design on the bag. The fabric she uses is not only 100% cotton, but bright and colorful too. The bag's total size measures 6" high x 7" wide. The closure is a 7" plastic zipper, which I love soooo much more than metal zippers on wet bags. Why on earth anyone would want a metal zipper, coated with enamel or not, on a bag you are constantly washing and dirtying is a mystery to me. The zippers she uses on these bags are amazing. The clean up nice and look so neat and clean on this bag.
The outside of the bag also features a carrying loop and a plastic link to easily clip the bag somewhere convenient.
The mini wet bag, as with the rest of The Diaper Wrangler wet bags, is lined with 1 mil PUL (polyurethane laminate). Not only is this water resistant, but if you decide to use the mini bag as a reusable snack bag, it simply wipes clean! That is a score in my book! =) I immediately thought to put in a small bottle of sunscreen, a sample tub of CJ's BUTTer, a set of safety pins for prefolds, and an emergency pacifier with a clip and the bag wasn't even half full!
This bag also works good as a wipe bag on to go if you use smaller 6x6 wipes. I have a few, but prefer 8x8 wipes so this bag worked better for us to hold odds and ends in the diaper bag.

You can purchase your own mini wet bag (retails $12 with free shipping in the US), or any of The Diaper Bag Wranglers other amazing diaper bag creations at her store or in her Etsy shop!

I felt my heart beat a little faster and my head feel a little lighter when I woke up this morning and realized how old Buggie was this morning! Yikes! lol It's been an exciting past couple weeks with Bug starting to crawl and a third bottom tooth poking through. He's babbling more, and so much more active (which I really wasn't expecting right now). His hair is getting longer, and in some spots he really needs it cut (say hello to "Papa's New Hair" fund).
